Beachbody Coach Steps to Success #2

Commit to your Beachbody Business
  • Know your "WHY"  -  Why are you a Beachbody Coach?
    • Accountability for your weight loss?
    • Motivation
    • Extra money
    • Replace your full-time income
    • 25% discount on Shakeology.
      •  You have to know your why. Write it down. Create a picture board. Make it visible and concrete instead of just thinking about it. You've heard about 'the power of the written word,' and in this case, writing down your Why will empower you to do what it takes to get there.
  • Set up a time in first 24-48 hours to sit down with your coach or talk on the phone.
    • Get contact info and times
    • Find out when webinars/trainings are going on that you can use
    • Then set up the next call within a week
  • Getting Started Tab (in Coach Office)
  • Learn basics
    • Setting up your profile/bio and Beachbody webpage
    • How to place orders
    • How to send people to your page to order
    • Setting preferred placement
    • Logging into WOWY
  • Read something or watch videos in your coach office regularly. I go into my coach office every day and watch at least one of the videos or read from Momentum.
  • Write down your business goals, both long and short term.
    • Where do you want your business to be in 1 month, 6 months and 12 months?
    • What date will you be Emerald? Diamond? Write it down. Say it out loud.
    • How many coaches will you help get to Emerald? Diamond? By when?
  • Then establish a plan of Action. Your plan of action will be determined in part by how big your WHY is!
That's it in a nutshell. Very basic. Certainly not everything I do in a live training, but critical first steps to take in creating a successful business. And I want you to be successful.

Beachbody Business - It's more than just numbers

From Twitter today:
@Carldaikeler  For most networks, it's all about numbers. But put HEART into the numbers, and you are unstoppable!

And I couldn't agree more!

Today, Dave's personal mission was to do as many 'exposures' for Beachbody as he could. He had a great day! He gave out business cards and talked to people about exercise, Beachbody, Shakeology, P90X and business. He also gathered business cards so he can follow up. Tomorrow, he's going to put several of the "Today's the Day" dvds in his cargo pockets to give to the people who expressed an interest and wanted more information. And while we know that to be successful in our business we do have to talk to a certain number of people, we've never wanted to do what we consider to be the 'icky' part of network marketing. We don't throw as many people as we can into our business and see who sticks. That's not us! Every single person we bring into our business is important to us. Not from a financial standpoint.  I know that's the first thing that often pops into people's minds. But truly, from the heart we try to help each coach succeed with their weight loss and fitness, their business, or hopefully both.

And so when I read Carl's "Tweet" this morning I knew I had to mention it in my blog.
If you care about people and build relationships with them, not only will your business flourish, but your life will be fuller than you ever thought possible.

And as a Beachbody Coach, you are a part of something that no other company out there has. We are unique. And we are changing people's lives every day physically and now financially with workouts and products that are real and that work; no gimmicks and no magic pills.

I'm so excited about where we are going as a company and the changes we've seen in our own lives that it makes Beachbody something that we want to share with everyone we come into contact with. We do put HEART into our numbers and that's why will be unstoppable!

Are you ready to be unstoppable?

In this together.

If your team did what you did today...

In reading through the System articles that Larry Zimberg has written, something really hit me and it was from his article, "Treat your Business like a Business." And at the end of the article he asked the question, "if your team did what you did today, would they have made any money?" And that got me to thinking and looking seriously at the activities I was doing for my business. Same thing could be asked about your health which we know is integral to our Beachbody businesses.  And I started to ask myself these questions:

  • What activities am I doing that are merely busy-work?
  • Am I teaching others so they can duplicate and grow their business?
  • Are my activities relevant and duplicable?
  • What specific activities are productive and the best use of my time?
  • And Larry's question..If my team did what I did today...???

Treat your business like a business. It's one of the most challenging messages to convey. It's a term that's often said and often heard, but what exactly does it mean? It means taking your business seriously by making proper use of the time that you have committed to doing this business and by focusing on doing only the activities that are a priority in moving your business forward. It means showing up, operating with a sense of urgency, and finally, not letting anything interfere with the time you've committed to doing this business. If you've set aside an hour a day, then let nothing get in the way! Guard that time as you would any important appointment, such as a doctor's appointment, a conference with your child's teacher, or a mandatory work meeting. Let your family know that you would like their understanding and cooperation in allowing you to work undisturbed during this time; after all, it is for their benefit as well. What we're really talking about here is Time Management.

To read the rest of the article, log into your Beachbody Coach online office and look in the latest Momentum Coach newsletter!  Guess what? This counts towards your 10 minutes of personal development today!  If you want to be successful, learn from successful people!

What traits do successful people have in common?

Watch this interview with Tony Robbins, Frank Kern and John Reese.

"So the purpose of this interview is to uncover the traits that successful people have in common. Specifically, the traits that cause them to take massive action and follow through. As you’ll see, the solution is really quite simple and available to us all."

If you want to become better, you need to keep growing and learning. And if you want to be successful, then learn from the successful people! This is a great interview. I've kept the window minimized so I can pull it up and listen to 5-10 minutes at a time.

You need to read a good personal development book or listen to a good audio at least 10 minutes a day!
At first it might seem silly. How is 10 minutes a day going to change anything in my life? Well, maybe not today. But what if you do it consistently for the next 365 days? That will make a difference!

Some books I recommend:

Go for No!
The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson
Failing Forward by John C. Maxwell
The Bible

Success Magazine

Just start reading or listening.. 10 minutes a day and see what happens! I've been faithful to this for the last 3 weeks and it's making an impact on my life already!
