If you only have a few minutes with them the first time, here are some things I suggest touching on:
- Writing profile/bio and getting picture up.
- How to get to Coach Office and previous Coach office. (I like the graphical geneology in the previous office and you need to know that the new office is still under construction and as such, will have some bugs from time to time. Expect it. Rule of thumb...don't freak out if something looks wrong from Sat to Monday! And when in question, check previous back office on reports like commissions, volume and placement. Then, email Coach Relations or call them. Calmly. :)
- Getting Started tab in office.
- Setting up EFT "electronic fund transfer" so their first commissions go right into a checking or savings account. I highly recommend setting up a free checking account for your business. Keep the money separate from your regular budget at first so you always have a reserve to invest into your business. It also simplifies income tax preparation.
- Video library and how to send or embed videos.
- Momentum...the coach newsletter. Lots of great stuff in current and past issues!
That's it. If your coach hasn't gone through these fundamentals with you, call them now and set up a time. And if you have new coaches, you know what to do! Call and set up a time to go over the basics with them. If they are wanting to really rock and roll with the business, then go into more detail, like setting placement. If they want to get their feet wet, don't go into too much detail.
In this together,
