INSANITY

The title says it all! Ready to bring it to a new level in your fitness, take a look at Insanity!
I started it before our vacation but didn't take the dvds with me since we anticipated doing lots of hiking. When I came home, I started in on Chalean Extreme Lean Circuit again because I enjoy that workout so much.
But, I'm seeing some amazing leaning out results from Insanity and even Traci Morrow says she's seen a change in her legs in 4 weeks. And it's in my legs I'm really wanting to see some change, especially the saddlebag area. So I decided to give it a go and start today!
Now granted, I didn't start on day 1 because curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to try Cardio Abs. So today, I did Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs. I was sweating from head to toe. There wasn't a dry spot on my t-shirt.
I downloaded the journal meal sheets and decided to keep track of my foods. I don't usually keep close track. I plan a menu ahead of time, eyeball it and try to follow it. But I figured up my calories today. According to the program, I need around 2300 to maintain and 1800 to lose. So, I'm choosing the 1800 until I figure out if I need more.
I wrote down everything I ate today. Took the time to figure up calories. And found out 2/3s of the way through I was really low at 1195 calories. Honest! Nothing else had gone in my mouth. So, I had some catching up to do. 1200 cals is not enough and especially not when doing a program like Insanity.
I'm making 60 copies of the sheet to put in a 3 ring binder. I imagine after a couple of weeks, I'll have days that I just repeat, but the focus will do me good.
Just from looking at it today and keeping track, I know in my heart, I've been overeating. Little bites of this or that I'm not as apt to do when I'm keeping track! And those little bites add up...piece of candy at mom's, the chocolate chips that fell on the countertop... Even healthy bites add up if you don't need the calories!

It's time for the hardest part of my day. Getting to bed so I can get some rest!

Insanity tomorrow! You can count on it!
